    MSOE Brochure

  4. A completed application packet and a $10 application fee are required.
  5. Upon enrollment there will be a parent orientation, with a thorough explanation of the program and a review of key parts of the Family Handbook.
  6. The child and parent participate in a two-day transition to the classroom, visiting first in the morning from 9:30 to 11:30, and then from 3:30-4:30. The third day is considered the first day of enrollment. There is an option of a longer transition if needed.

Sliding-Scale Tuition Fees

MSOE determines the fees charged for School Readiness/DSS supported child care slots based on the School Readiness/DSS sliding scale fee schedule for those families whose incomes are less than 75% of the State’s median Income (SMI) guidelines.

Some MSOE families are eligible to apply for funding from the Connecticut Care 4 Kids Program to assist them. The goal of the Care 4 Kids program is to make child care affordable for low to moderate income families in Connecticut.  The program is a partnership between the State of Connecticut, the families in the program and the providers who take care of the children.  Details are available from MSOE as part of the admissions process.
